RESEARCH FOR MAGAZINE FRONT COVER

The music genre for this magazin is RnB, the targeted audience for this type of magazine would mainly be young teenagers and adults roughly aged between 16-22. The main image on the front cover of the magazine is of the famous rapper Eminiem. The main artist is looking diractly at us, by doing this it grabs the audiences intention instantly so they know it is aimed at them. The conventions of this magazine are that it includes a masthead, straplines, etc. The main colours that are included on this magazine are black, white and red. By using these colours it allows the magazine to be both aimed at women and men also the red creates emphasis on the magazine. This can be seen on the title as it instanly grabs the audiences attentions, also the word "vibe" gives off a music feel so this also tells the auidence that the magazine is going to be upbeat and youngsters.

The typeface of the magazine is simple, bold and clear and the important information is typed in capitals letters. For instance, on the magazine the artist Eminem is written roughly the same size as the title, by doing this it shows the importance of both the magazine and the artist itself. The importance of the artist is also shown by the straplines as they are placed either side of the artist which makes him more visible also as the straplines are aganist the white background it makes them easier to see.
